The Ellensburg boys soccer team opened their home slate at EHS on Tuesday night, facing off against a disciplined West Valley squad. In a match defined by defensive grit and physical play, the Bulldogs ultimately fell short in a narrow 1-0 loss.

The game’s lone goal came midway through the first half. West Valley’s Cristian Marin (#14) found the back of the net at the 24:00 mark, slotting home a clinical finish to give the Rams the lead.
